First, I seem to recall the SAME EXACT THING happening last year to the Kenyan runners. Why is it so difficult for them to get rides to the start?

Second, it's three miles, let's be honest - just run to the start.

Third, they were there before Kris and I were (thanks Kip) and we had time for a mile warmup.
