saturday track workout

i spoke with a few people about this already, but a few of us are gonna do a workout saturday morning at gilman at 8am. right now the plan is 8x800, with a group of us going 2:20ish and equal rest. check the comments friday for updates, especially on track conditions.

Based on current forecast trajectories, you may want to have an alternative workout planned just in case. Or, bring shovels to clear the path.

I don't know the conditions at Gilman but the rubber path around the perimeter of Homewood Field at Hopkins is clear and very runnable. It's more of a rectangle than a track but, you can take the turns as wide as you want. Don't know the exact distance. My guess is 420-430 meters.

So tracks are out of the question tomorrow, but if you're running, plan to meet at 8am in fed hill in front of fed hill fitness (where we meet Mondays). We'll use a street loop Garrett knows of nearby. See you then.

Towson University's track was plowed and is 90% clear and should be 100% after one more sunny day. Not sure when it's open. I ran on it this afternoon with no problems.
