Pat Wins Red Bank Tri

Pat McLoughlin wins the inaugural Red Bank Triathlon in 1:36:55, brother Tommy finishes 3rd in 1:39:05. To say it was windy would not even be accurate. The Navesink River was so choppy they had to shorten the swim from 750 yards to what may have been about 300 meters. Kayakers/life guards were having trouble.

Kevin McGrath finishes first ever triathlon, having swam just twice in his "build up" to the race.

At the Giant Acorn Triathlon, Ben Winterroth finishes 3rd overall in 2:05:38, a distance PR, using a solid swim, gnarly bike split and a much improved run.

Ed Aramayo finishes 3rd at yesterday's Newark Main Street Mile in Delaware, running a TWSS season road mile best at 4:40.3 (Ben ran 4:40.8 earlier at the Loudon Street Mile).
