As an alternative suggestion:

Annapolis hosts the Cherry Pit 10 Miler on Sunday. It features a rolling (see also: more challenging than another 10 mile race on the same day with a name including Cherry) course, and ONLY A $10 RACE DAY FEE!

Seriously, how can you go wrong for getting a supported long run for 10 bucks??

Dusty said he was contemplating doing this as part of his long run, so give him a shout. Alyssa also may be going down there to do 25 miles or something.

I know Annapolis is a bit of a hike, but here's the info:

I am registered for the Cherry Pit 10 Mile. I am running it as a part of 19-21 mile run with 13-14 miles at marathon pace. The race, obviously, will be ten miles of the 13 miles at MP. After I exit the shoot, I'll run the last 3 miles of the course in reverse at MP before settling in for a 3 or 4 mile cool down.

Let me know if you are interested in meeting for a warm up or cool down.

i'd love to get out to that race - but i think i'm just gonna get something in closeby - gonna check out the bwi/ b & a trail -

rolling out at 8

here's where i'm leaving from:
Tom Dixon Aircraft Observation Area: From I-95 or Rt. 295 (Baltimore Washington Parkway) take Route 100 East. Stay on Route 100 to Exit 11. Get off Route 100 at Exit 11 which is Route 170 (Telegraph Road). Take Route 170 North towards Linthicum. Go to the first stop light which is Route 176 (Dorsey Road). Make a right onto Route 176 and go approximately 1.5 miles. The observation area will be on your right. If you come to I-97, you have gone too far

lemme know if i should look for you in the morning...
