Who will win the NYC marathon?

Just curious as to whether people think Ryan Hall has a chance of the win. He had an extremely strong performance in PDR. The competition is pretty stiff with Marilson Gomes dos Santos, Martin Lel, Hendrick Ramaala and Paul Tergat (though Ramaala and Tergat are probably too much past their prime to be in serious contention). Oh, and how can we forget Andrew Jaffe? He told me he planned on beating Hall in either PDR or NYC, so seeing as how he barely lost at PDR, he better beat him at NYC! haha... No, but seriously, this is going to be a sick race.

I don't even know how to respond to that without sounding like an asshole, so here goes: Scoreboard.

picking a winner of a big race is like picking a winner of a big golf tournament. There could always be somebody from the field who has a good day. So, I would say the chances are that Hall won't win - however, i don't think anybody is a run away favorite either.
