While most of us are years from having to worry about arthritis, it's good to know that running all these miles may actually be doing us more good than harm*. I'm curious if they'll follow up this study with one that tries to correlate heel/mid/forefoot striking with joint issues.

Thanks Tim, I hope that's what Mike meant - otherwise why did he have to post such a downer message?
Yeah maybe most of your knees will be safe, mine however will likely not last more than 3 years after surgery. ha.
