Weekend Long Run

With there not being many races this weekend, it's that time of the week again to organize the weekend long run.

I'm planning to put in roughly 17 miles on Saturday. I'm open for any place and time. As of now I'll put down 9am at Patapsco, but I'm open for suggestions. Let me know if you prefer to go elsewhere and if you can join!

As well, I know that Ben has a long run on Sunday so if you're schedule fits for Sunday their is an option there also...

Work it out on the comments below...

i'd like to run 17-18 on sunday - but, with 8 miles worth of tempo (probably 2 mi easy 2X2mi tempo with 2 min rest 6 mi easy 2X2mi tempo with 2 min rest 2 mi easy). i'm thinking of doing part of it (scary music) on the NCRT so that I know my splits for the tempo. I'll probably get off the trail for the 6 mi section. meet at 8am at glencoe (take exit 24 east on belfast rd, right on york, left on lower glencoe road to parking). sound good?

motherlovers make sure you show up at weekend runs!

Ben you should definitely do your 6 miles on those awesome trails that we did that time. They were amazing and really good to run on.

i'll do patapsco friday if anybody else will be there. i'm also in for 16 on sat. morning back at patapsco.

Yeah with both myself and Justin out of commission, Friday runs will be on a "get in touch with Kris and see if he's planning on running" basis for now.

Kris, be careful. You're older than Justin and it was his back to back Patapsco runs or something that did his back in.

Kris- what time? 6? 6:30?

6 or 6:30?! Ha, normally Friday run is 4:30.

Cheese - Justin threw out his back like an old man, bad case of sciatica. I managed to hobble down from my house to the Inner Harbor without taking so much as a breather, while Justin had to take a break on a bench on his short walk from his office to meet me for lunch the other day.

Ben- I think your LR pace with the tempo will be a little too quick for me. Also, I'm trying to make my long runs as hilly as possibly. I'm thinking I may go up to Susquahanna State park tomorrow or next Sunday.

If anyone wants to go to CA this weekend, you can run however far you want at Mt Disappointment 50 with me. Just kidding, the race is retarded and won't let me have a pacer...
