Saturday Picnic!

So the first annual Team Family Picnic is Saturday. I'm going to send an email out with assignments for things to bring, but wanted to offer a last chance to anyone who may not have RSVP'd yet. It is seriously open to all - anyone is welcome. We're going to kick things off at 11am. It's going to be a fun time so don't miss out!

There are two possible ways for you to get there. One is to park up top on Rolling Road and walk down the trail (a little over a mile to the area we have reserved) OR you can drive into the park (think it costs $3, so carpooling would be cost-effective) and then turn right and follow around to the little pond, then go right under the train overpass.

In addition to this super fun event, Saturday morning Ben and I are timing a race at Druid Hill Park. It's a very low key, relaxed 5k around the reservoir. We could use some help, from about 7:30 until 9:45ish, which would allow you plenty of time to get down to the picnic. Regardless of whether you are going to the picnic, if you could spare some time in the morning we would greatly appreciate it. Post in the comments or email me if you can help. So far we have the MCVETs 5k winner Chrissie Ramsey who is going to be there, and if that's not reason enough to come, I don't know what is!

I think we're going to have Alyssa's cornhole/beanbag game to play but if anyone wants to bring any other games, feel free.

Also, if anyone has a camera, bring it!

Also also, Cheese is moving to Cali for at least 6 months so this is his quasi-going away party!

I'm planning on running in Patapsco prior to the picnic Saturday morning if anyone is interested. I'm thinking of doing 12. Probably start at 9:30 so that we're done for 11:00. Let me know if you're interested.
