They Don't Know

Who we be...

Fairly quiet weekend of racing, that's what happens this time of year, but as far as I'm aware there were two people out there racing.

Joel Barfolomew Gladfelter stayed true to his name, vomiting prior to his 400m race today down at PG Complex (which I heard was recently redone with Mondo, so it's sick). He finished in a reasonably competitive 61 seconds, which is a little off what he pulled last year.

Meanwhile, down in the land where dreams come true (WDW, a place Arjun has never been), Jeff Rumbaugh ran to a 61st place finish in the Disney Marathon, and shaved about a minute off his MCM time in the process. Great job Jeff - for this effort you have earned the Purple Drink Athlete of the Week.

The week ahead is supposed to get COLD. Cold we haven't felt in a while. You midwesterners might be a little better prepared, but it's not going to be a super friendly week. Make sure you're staying warm, and warming up properly before any runs.

As an aside, I think my life would have been a lot less fantastic without Steven Spielberg making movies. Thanks Steve, for all that you've done for me. I'll even overlook all the stuff you've done with Tom Cruise that's been weird. And Indiana Jones 4.

Anyway the schedule remains the same, as always:

Monday - Fed Hill

Tuesday - The Tuesday morning workout crew

Wednesday - Canton Square

Weekend - post plans during the week, depending on weather outlook I will *likely* look to do a long run on Sunday.

And as usual a few reminders: 1) Sign up for Boston if you haven't already. 2) I will check with Jim first thing in the morning to see the status of the USATF stuff, and then report to everyone later. If it's done, we can get the ball rolling for USATF meet.
