Baltimore Marathon Training Run

If anyone is in town and bored Saturday morning, Jim can still use a few extra hands with the training run. He's just looking for folks to man some water stations. There will be two in the downtown/Fed Hill area if you don't want to travel. The run is about 18 miles, so it's really nice of Jim to help out and provide water/gu to those folks looking for an idea of what the course is like before the race. You can be really nice and just stand around for a little bit and hang out. It's not as intense as a race day water stop. Basically, he gives you jugs of water, cups and gu. Then you watch the runners that run by take the stuff. Don't have to hand stuff to people, they stop and take it themselves. There isn't even any clean up because everyone is decent enough to throw out their used cups. Then when you think the last of the last has gone by, pack the stuff up and be on your merry little way. So if you are around, be a good person and help out. I'm sure Jim has helped every single one of us in one way or another. Let me know if you need his info to contact him.

I'm planning to actually run the course - anyone else running this other than the talented Mr. Ripley
