TNT #17 and O's Game Tomorrow

Great workout tonight. I think we just crossed the halfway point of TNT (and probably the summer). It was one of the longer ones we've ever done, 4x2000m w/90sec rest. The effort should have felt comfortably hard. The heat was a factor but as always, could have been worse. Doing workouts up there is a good idea as it always seems a few degrees cooler than downtown. I'm psyched to see Kip getting back into shape, amazing how a few runs turns that kid into a monster again. He had to one-up all of us by doing 2x4000m.

So I think we'll be without Arjun and Alex for a short period of time as they travel to jolly olde England for a little vaca. This would be a good time to talk shit about them on some runs.

And finally, tomorrow night's game is still something I'm planning on attending. If you would like to meet up, just holler, I'm going to try and get there by first pitch. $5.50 tickets and you get a free championship penant if you're in the first 25,000 fans. If it rains or looks like a thunderstorm I may avoid going so call me.

We'll be doing a pre-game ceremony honoring the 1983 World Champion Baltimore Orioles which is scheduled to begin at 6:40 tonight so come a little early if you can. It should be pretty cool with having Eddie, Cal, Palmer & about 20 others there as well as we celebrate what I think is the last time we actually had a winning season--Kris can correct me for you are the only one that is old enough to have been alive at the time to recall such good memories. Additionally, 500 of the pennants will be signed by various members of the 83 and you can get your photo with the championship trophy before the game...plus tickets are $5.50, so come out to the game tonight!
