Looking Ahead

A couple things to keep in mind as I don't want to send out reminder emails this week:

Saturday: Celtic Solstice. If you're volunteering, please try to get there by 6:30 am. The race starts at 8:30. Kip and I are emcees for the awards ceremony. Hopefully it does not rain. After the race Kris has invited us down to his house for pancakes.

Saturday night: Alex's party, 1541 S. Hanover St. Party starts at 9 pm. You MUST wear an ugly holiday sweater to gain entry into this ultra exclusive shindig.

Monday: 2007 Awards Night, my house, 8 pm. I'll pick up pizzas for us on the way home from FHR. Should last about an hour, maybe a little less.

Tuesday: Runners' Social, Cross St Market, 7-9 pm. Cost is $20, all you can eat/drink. They have beers, seafood, pizza, etc. Always a good time.

And finally, a great race to do, it will actually be held closer to St. Patrick's Day than normal, on Sunday March 16. The Shamrock 5k is one of the fastest 5ks you can do, being net downhill and a super downhill first mile. The registration fees are a reasonable $25 until January 1, after that they increase $5 until March 1, then another $5, if it isn't closed out. Entries can be done online or at the (gasp) Charm City Run store.
