Wanted: Your Clothes

My family was fortunate to get through last week's storm relatively unscathed, but there are still many people in New York and New Jersey still without power - and many without homes. After spending the weekend up there, many are still in need of essentials and with temperatures beginning to take a dip, warm clothes are among the things that are needed most.

With that in mind, starting tonight at track I will be taking clothing donations (and anything else that people might want to donate) and be bringing them up to New Jersey. Anything will make a difference, but particularly if you have winter clothes that you may no longer have a need for, baby clothes you may no longer need, etc, it will go a long way.

If you aren't at track tonight you know where I live, or if you let me know I'll gladly come pick them up.

Items most needed: Warm jackets and coats, hats, gloves, socks, baby bottles, diapers, baby formula, canned goods, manual can openers, bleach and other cleaning supplies, heavy duty trash bags. Every little but helps and is greatly appreciated!

Remember that time we learned that Alex's mom reads the blog?

Apparently mine does too. Ha!

Thanks mom!

Thank you to everyone who donated items for the hurricane victims here in NJ. The response was so overwhelming that we could barely see Ryan driving the car ;-)
