Man Cave 5k: Now With $$$!

The braintrust at Running Maryland, the area's leader in race management services, made an announcement yesterday regarding their inaugural Man Cave 5k.

There will be PRIZE MONEY. And no chump change, either. Check out the award structure:

Top 5 Men AND Women!

1st: $400
2nd: $250
3rd: $150
4th: $125
5th: $75

There are absolutely NO other events in the area that are offering prize money like that for months!

If the prize money isn't enough to entice you, the post-race party will feature brews from Heavy Seas, and the opportunity win a BIG SCREEN TV from The Big Screen Store. Beer, wings, big screen TVs, Ravens vs Steelers - it's going to be a great event, and despite the name, not just for men! Anybody can come out and enjoy the atmosphere, and the race will benefit Chesapeake Urology and the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge. 1 in every 6 men is affected by prostate cancer, so remember to get yourself checked!
