The Spirit of Gettysburg 5k is June 25 this year at 8 a.m. I have run this course several times before, and it is a beautiful course through all the monuments and battlefields. It can also be pretty quick. It is flat and fast, and winning times have been as low as 14:20, but they have also been a minute slower. Most likely, I think I will sign up. Perhaps we could bring a contingent up there. Registration is $25 by June 23. And considering it's hard to find cool (temperature) races in the summer, this one could be worth it.

I ran this once - good race. Challenging but full of people and a good race crowd for a locals kind of race
This is a good race. Kip ran 14:43 there in 2007. Very fast times generally and good competition.
I, as will probably (hopefully) a few others, will be spending that morning timing/helping at Dreaded Druid Hills 10k. This is the farthest thing from a PR course, unless, of course, you don't have a 10k PR.
