Both Dave and I were fortunate enough to get on the shortlist for Badwater 2010. I think we were both a little shocked to get in because they supposedly get somewhere between 1000 and 3000 applicants and only admit 90, but we both got in. I've got a couple people for my crew already, so I don't officially need any more people, but I'm allowed to have up to 6, so if anyone's interested in having the Death Valley experience, feel free to contact either of us. I crewed and paced about half the race last year, so if any of you think you might want to eventually do it, it's definitely a good thing to have on the application. If you meet me out in Las Vegas (2 hours from the race), I'll cover everything from there, so it won't cost you much money at all.
Also, congrats to everyone on Club Challenge! I just heard the good news. Hopefully I'll make it back for that next year.

I would like to add that if you like the feeling of a hairdryer all over your body, Badwater is the race for you. Okay, not selling this very well . . . :P But seriously, it'll be a memorable experience, so come on out and crew for one of us.
