* * * * Mile!!

That's right folks, my "somewhat annual" tradition of mixing alcohol and running will be revived on Sunday, May 17th. The first Baltimore Edition of the Birthday Beer Mile will be held at 6:00pm at the house of Brennan J. Feldhausen (1321 Clarkson St. Unit 1).

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this event, beer mile rules can be found here. However, we will deviate from those rules as the executive committee sees fit. The house beer will be Miller Light, but feel free to bring your favorite bev. Just remember in a Beer Mile what goes down often times comes right back up so the cheaper the better.

As mentioned on Wednesday night, costumes (headlamps, jerseys, custom made t-shirts, etc.) are strongly encouraged to add to the festivities.

The Alyssatard will probably have to make another appearance.

So the one night I DON'T go to Wednesday Night Run you guys have like a super fun time without me? Motherfuckers. Where were you all for the past umpteen weeks when there were just 3 of us?? Ha.

I like how Arjun bleeped out BEER.

Since this is a TWILIGHT ROAD BEER MILE it will be way more awesome than a normal one. And for those still standing after, we can pedal down to see HEART at Pier VI, or just watch Survivor season finale.

ALSO I'm pretty amazed by the votes for HOF4 right now. 4th of Fury has a 10-9 lead over Fury For Freedom. Polls close soon so make your voice be heard! Together we can make a difference! YES WE CAN!

Maybe some will just read the title and assume it's a nude mile. Now that'd be a custom!

I knew I brought my old track one piece back for a reason.

Doug Allen, who teaches the class at Fed Hill Fitness, has gone 6:03. Documented on film. Unbelievable.

I had a teammate in college who ran a 5:46. It was the most incredible thing I've ever seen. I also had a teammate who finished in 16 and change...

Who will be the champ and who the chump on Sunday? I think a betting pool is called for. Sadly I won't be able to make it myself, but it would vicariously make me happy if this happened.

Whoa - 5:46?? That surely had to have been near or better than the World Record at that time! At like 12-15sec per beer, that's nearly a 4:45 mile. Absurd.

He averaged around 9 sec per beer, but still damn fast.
