Theft Details:



This bike was stolen from a backyard on the 1500 block of S. Hanover St between 11pm on Tuesday, December 16th and 8am on Wednesday, December 17th. The bike was locked to the fence and under a tarp. A police report has been filed.





If Spotted:



This is a distinctive and rare bike so if you see a yellow 1970s tandem bike in the city there is a *very* good chance this is it. Please do not approach the rider(s). Call the Baltimore City Police non-emergency line (311) and notify them.

Let my misfortune serve as a warning to you. Backyards gates should be locked and cable locks can be easily cut.

I think this was a crime of passion; somebody greatly desired your possession because they obviously knew it was there.

Also it will be quite easy to spot, as it will not fit normally in cars and will be hard to transport.

Now if we could only find your bike and my bike and be whole again.

Sorry for your loss, but I think I saw it on ebay. A bidding war ensued and the bid is now up to $2,353.75.
