Remember to Register

Just a friendly reminder, so you don't get CLOSED OUT of some popular races, to register. If you know you're going to do a race, you may as well just sign up. Here's a few on the docket:

12/20: Celtic Solstice. They're over 1500 now, which means you still have time but not if you'd like to get the fleece premium.

1/25: ING Miami Half Marathon. I don't think this will sell out but flights fluctuate so plan it out! I'm still working on a convenient and reasonable hotel. I will be using the numbers that I have on the right side and will let everyone know the approximate costs, etc.

4/20: Boston Marathon. If you've got your qualifying time and are planning on racing, register sooner than later. The race will likely be closed by January 1st.

Also I'm working on the calendar, which I stole from GRC/Matias. Don't worry, I'll work on tailoring it to us later tonight, I'm just trying to get an idea of how it was set up. You should be able to edit it, but let me know if you can't for some reason. I want to make sure people have to be signed in to edit, so if you have problems make sure you're logged in first.

I tried to make the calendar sweet and it won't let me. (yes, I'm signed in)

First of all, don't make the calendar "sweet". Nothing gay goes on the calendar. Races only.

Second, I will look into it.

perhaps some potpourri.

Try it sometime now and let me know. I changed it so you should be able to edit without signing in. Previously one could view without signing in but probably would have needed to sign in to edit.

If that still doesn't work I may have to send out invitations, but I feel like I shouldn't have to do that.

I was able to modify the calendar - added "Columbia Triathlon" on 5/17.

It looks pretty good right now. I'm going to work tonight on merging this calendar with the already published TWSS Spreadsheet for one master document.

Question for anyone that knows how to use this stuff better than I do:

I want the ability for names to be stacked on top of each other, but the only way I've been able to accomplish that is to type "name" then hit the space bar out pretty far, then another "name", etc. I have tried many different formats within the cell to accomplish this and have been unsuccessful. It looks clunky the way I've jury-rigged it.

Also Matt, take a look at the TWSS spreadsheet when you get a chance and if I've missed any of your races (under tab RACES) let me know, I'll add them. That goes for EVERYONE, actually, in the event I've missed any of your races this year let me know so I can have it done for next month's awards.

After each "name" hit Ctrl+Enter and that will bring you to a new line in the cell. I will fix said clunky-ness.
