Philly Distance Run

I finally booked accommodations for Saturday, September 20th in Philadelphia. I used Hotwire and found a 3.5 start in Center City West for $124 ($146 with tax). I was hoping it would be the Sheraton University City, which is where we stayed last year. That was nice, mildly off the beaten path, close to UPenn, 2 mile warmup through the ghett in the morning.

Well after I booked it was in fact a Sheraton, but it's the Sheraton City Center at 17th and Race Streets. What does this mean exactly? Well, it's freaking mad close to the start of the race and the convention center for race picket pickup. It is also a lot less expensive than other places and really, that's all I'm concerned with.

So, I know there are a few of you racing, again, same rules as Philly 07 and Broad Street 08 - you're more than welcome to crash in my room, I would prefer to keep it to no more than 5 or 6 if possible and NO SHOWTIME PORN will be watched. If you are inclined to get your own room, I would encourage you to use Hotwire and find the 3.5 star in Center City West for $124.

Also, I plan on driving up early on Saturday, for two reasons. First is to watch my sister's xc meet at UDel. Second is so the same thing doesn't happen to us as last year, which was insane traffic and having to run to the convention center to get our stuff before the thing closes.

Can we get a count of folks needing a place for Philly? Melissa, Ryan, and me makes 3. If it gets over 5 I will get another room.

I figured it would be you, Melissa, me and Sara Spears...

If Ben and Kendra are going I figured they would look into their own room so they can bang. Kris and Donna same deal.
