Baltimore 10 Miler

First of all, I love bigotry, so thanks BG for posting that article. I don't really care whether this guy is allowed to compete in the Olympics, if he is able to qualify for his country, I feel like he should be allowed - and it's not like he's going to win the gold anyway. BUT, at the same time, that's what Paralympics are for.

Second, ran into Jim today. He told me that there is going to be a huge announcement regarding a NEW Baltimore race, held on June 21. It will be a 10 miler (geez, just what we need, right?) and like I said it will be on Saturday the 21st. Stay tuned for more info.

Third, also keep the morning of Saturday, June 28th open for volunteering at Dreaded Druid Hills 10k. Exception is of course if you are racing. Historically, this is a race that we don't really run, but rather Jim enjoys putting the "fast people" out on the course at water stops to help solidify this as being the toughest race around (as in, we're too wimpy to do it). So, since I've done that for the last two years, I will continue that tradition. Race starts early, so no excuses that you can't be there, and then you'll be done by 9. Last year Andy got really drunk the night before and was still drunk while he was helping, which made for a fun day.

Yeah, thanks for the shout out. I know the people I handed water to were like "Where the fuck did they find these 'volunteers?'" With that said, it was pretty entertaining as I recall.
