Craig Alexander, 2:41:59 (fi...Top runs of the day:<br /><br />Craig Alexander, 2:41:59 (finished 4th overall, was 15min down on the leader off the bike, and 8+ down on eventual winner, Chris McCormack)<br /><br />Mirinda Carfrae, 2:53:32 (finished 1st overall after gobbling up Julie Dibens)<br /><br />Those are INSANE. Chris McCormack ran 2:43, assumed the lead after Chris Lieto (4:23 bike split) blew up. Then German Andreas Raelert caught him with 3 miles to go or so, and they ran stride for stride until the last mile when Macca opened it up after the last aid station. Definitely a race for the ages.<br /><br />Meanwhile, in age group land, Ed Jablonski had a 1:13 swim and a 5:50 bike split.
