For those of you familiar with the old PDR course, take a look at the new map. It's, like, the same, but also, like, totally and completely different.
First of all, new course means new course records. I don't care if it is on the same exact roads, it is a completely different course.
More importantly, how will this affect the times? I think this reversal of fortune is madness, but you can decide for yourselves:

So it's going the opposite direction. It's flat. Should it matter? Ehh, probably will be fun to change it up. Good luck to those running.

Barf - because you missed the convo at track I'll cut you some slack. We were (mostly) joking about how the course is totally different, but exactly the same.
Although I do think they need to call it a new course record this year because, after all, the course is different.
And to answer the question WWDPoBoAGD, DP/AG would run the course minimum 3 times, and Barf would rabbit the first 200m then taper during the race.
...and FBG would run the new route facing the old direction.
Oh yeah, I walso wanted to say that my favorite course here in town has two personal course records depending on the direction I run the loop. The records are about 3 minutes different over 15km, though I has one really good run once in the one direction, so there's probably only a 1-2 minute actual difference. Mainly it's because of hills. (it's faster to go up a steep hill and then down a not-so-steep hill) If PDR is flat, maybe the wind makes a difference, or the road conditions. Let's start an experiment! Yay!
I can has really good run.
I can has cheeseburger?
I'm in ur alley stealing your bikeezzzzzz
I love this thread! Awesome! Great times posted @ PDR too!
